Like the Essentials healthcare plan but also includes cancer and palliative care treatments, hospice care and a more inclusive range of in-patient benefits.

The Everyday plan

Still for the budget conscious but more comprehensive than the Essentials Plan. This private health insurance policy also includes cancer treatment cover that increases over a five-year period if you don’t make a claim. In addition, there’s out-patient cover for therapies, complimentary medicine and cardiovascular conditions as well as cash benefits and critical illness.

The Everyday Plus plan

By upgrading to the Everyday Plus Plan from General & Medical, you receive higher levels of outpatient benefit and cancer treatment in addition to in-patient cover for cardiovascular conditions.

The Lifestyle plan

A more comprehensive health care plan, Lifestyle provides the highest level of cover for inpatient admissions, enhanced cancer care and out-patient benefits. It also includes cash benefits, critical illness and access to a 24 hour a day GP helpline.

The Lifestyle Plus plan

Lifestyle Plus also gives you cover for a private ambulance, home nursing and cash benefits for personal accident and temporary disablement.

In addition, Lifestyle Plus includes medical and transportation costs back to the UK for urgent medical attention if you are ill or injured overseas.

The Elite plan

The Elite Plan is General & Medical’s most comprehensive level of private medical insurance which also includes dentistry, optical care, private GP visits, maternity benefits and costs for boarding pets.

As with all plans there some exclusions depending on your lifestyle and medical history; our health insurance adviser will advise you if any apply to you.
